Babcock Australia - Expressions of Interest

As part of our Growth strategy and business expansion, Babcock International Group endorsed the investment to develop a significant presence in Australia.

Building on the existing capabilities already in Adelaide and Perth, Babcock Pty Ltd are now expanding their operations principally in the Naval Support market. We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest to assist us with this expansion and our Strategic goals.

Part of this expansion includes an incorporated Joint Venture between Babcock Pty Ltd and UGL Infrastructure Pty Ltd. The JV will be established in Western Australia to support the ANZAC Major Fleet Unit Group Maintenance Contract (GMC) once preferred tender status is announced.

This newly formed Australian Company has a sole purpose to support ANZAC, but also offering an unsurpassed major warship track record, combined with skilled commercial sector experience in delivering mission critical asset management and maintenance.

Babcock Pty Ltd is about to embark on an exciting growth phase and we are currently seeking expressions of interest in a variety of roles to support this Joint Venture campaign:

  • Certification/QA Officer
  • Contract Control Manager

  • HS&E Officer
  • Logistics Officer

  • Permit Controller
  • Planner
  • Platform Support Manager
  • Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Company Accountant

As our Company Accountant, reporting to the Financial Controller, you are responsible for day-to-day supervision of the Finance team overseeing accounts and payroll functions.  This includes managing the company’s financial systems, cash flow, budget and forecasting processes. 

As part of the Babcock International Group Plc UK, we have stringent reporting requirements.  Your commercial acuity and cost analysis will provide management teams with meaningful data that will inspire confidence.  You will be tertiary qualified with a Degree in Accounting or similar, and experienced in leading a small team.  Exposure to a manufacturing or services environment would be advantageous.
